Registrar's Office manuals, 1965 - 2011
Scope and Contents
The records of the Oakland University Registrar's Office consist of office files that were originally kept in binders. The binders' titles and organization has largely been preserved, although routine documents and individual student information have been removed.
While many of the files document office procedures, there are materials of significant value for the academic history of the university -- including reports, statistics, memos, and correspondence on topics such as general education and student transfer policies. These documents originate from the University Senate, the Provost Office, the College of Arts and Sciences and other academic units. Brochures and student guides also provide information on academic programs.
