Scope and Contents note

From the Collection:

The Meadow Brook Theatre document the entire history of the theatre from its founding in 1966. The collection is organized in 8 series: Administrative Files, Financial Files, Human Resources, Productions, Photographs, Audiovisual materials, Scrapbooks, and Artifacts. The Administrative Files, organized chronologically by season, document the business and operations of the theatre. The Financial Files provide additional information for the 1990s and 2000s. The Human Resources series includes union contracts, general employment materials such as job descriptions, and specific actor files. The Productions series is organized by season and includes all pre- and post-production materials, including scripts, cast lists, programs, props lists, contracts, rehearsal & performance logs, and news clippings. Photographs and Audiovisual materials are also generally organized by season and production. Scrapbooks are similarly organized and contain mostly newspaper clippings documenting selected seasons in the 1960s.

The Meadow Brook Theatre records are open for research except for certain records restricted by statute or university policy.
