The Oakland Press Newspaper collection consists of an archive of the newspaper and its predecessors on microfilm for the years 1835-2007, as well as some bound volumes of the print newspaper covering selected years between 1851 and 1905.

History
The Oakland Press is a daily newspaper published in Oakland County, Michigan, going back to 1843. Long headquartered in Pontiac, it moved to Troy in 2017. The paper has been published under different names, including The Pontiac Press, until it was renamed The Oakland Press in 1972.
