History

The Oakland Press is a daily newspaper published in Oakland County, Michigan, going back to 1843. Long headquartered in Pontiac, it moved to Troy in 2017. The paper has been published under different names, including The Pontiac Press, until it was renamed The Oakland Press in 1972.
