History
The Oakland University Deans' Council was a specific unit of Oakland University's Academic Affairs division, and contributed to the university's leadership efforts. Composed of acting deans from various academic units on campus, the Council was granted input into University Senate matters in order to create an open dialog between deans, faculty, and the Provost's office.
