History
The Student Enterprise Theatre (SET), which, was the successor to the Meadow Brook Theatre Guild, was an extra-curricular dramatic group at Oakland University. From its inception in 1967, the SET was entirely managed by students with the help of a faculty adviser. The SET offered dozens of plays to the campus community in the Theatre Barn before it moved to Varner Hall in 1984.
