History
The first reunion of the Black Alumni Association of OU was held in 1974. In April 2019, the association started an alumni initiative led by Eleanor Reynolds (a former OU employee and alum) to collect more information from African American alumni on student and Greek organizations with which they were involved during their time at OU. In anticipation of the reunion at the 2019 Homecoming, African American alumni shared copies of photos and stories electronically.
