Scope and Contents note From the Collection: The collection originally contained 4,569 letters and postcards from all 50 states, including 4,370 letters to Michael Banerian, 151 to Ross Ensign, 1 to another elector in Ohio that was accidentally sent to Banerian, and 47 attachments (articles, pictures or other items). Of the 4,569 total 3,759 were form letters, 85 form postcards. Only a sample of these identical letters was kept. There are 539 personal letters and 112 personal postcards.
