This collection includes recordings of early Oakland University events. The events maybe administrative, cultural or academic. Of particular note are groundbreaking ceremonies and the cornerstone ceremony for Wilson Hall (during which Matilda Wilson gave a 2-minute speech), as well as numerous commencements.
