Scope and Contents From the Collection: The Oakland University Commencement collection was assembled over time from multiple sources. It documents the preparation and implementation of commencement ceremonies since the Charter Class's graduation in 1963. Of particular value are the scripts of invited speakers for a number of early commencement ceremonies and a complete set of program brochures.
